Rules

All content must feature and be centered around SasuSaku.

Please use the hashtag #ghiblisasusaku so that we can find your submission.

All types of content, including fanart, fanfics, thread fics, snippets, animations, comics, edits, art wips etc., are allowed.

All content must be your own. Reposting, plagiarising or editing someone else’s work is strictly prohibited.

Content with character or ship bashing will not be accepted.

This event is strictly SFW so please don’t submit anything NSFW. We will only retweet content that is PG13/Rated T.

We want this event to be safe for everyone. So we will not accept any content that depicts incest, adult/minor relationships, non-con, extreme violence and/or gore.

FAQ

Q. What kinds of works can I create?
A. All types of content, including fanart, fanfics, thread fics, snippets, animations, comics, edits, art wips etc., are allowed as long as it adheres to the rules for the event.

Q. What are the prompts?
A. There is only one prompt — Studio Ghibli! You can use any movie from the studio to act as inspiration for your piece.

Q. Can I redraw/recolour/edit Ghibli stills?
A. Yes, you can redraw/recolour/edit any official materials from Ghibli.

Q. What is the official tag for the event?
A. #ghiblisasusaku is the official tag for the festival. Please share your fanworks on your own account and don’t forget to use this hashtag as this will be the only tag the mods will be checking.

Q. Is NSFW accepted?
A. Since we believe that most Ghibli classics are SFW and many minors are interested in this event as well, we have decided to keep it fluffy, emotional and SFW.

Q. What is your policy regarding art reposters?
A. Reposters/tracers won’t be tolerated at all. Any art found that is reposted/traced will immediately be reported and the account will be blocked.

Q. Can I include other characters?
A. Yes, other characters can be included as long as they are in the background. Sasuke and Sakura must be the focus of the work.

Q. Can I include other ships?
A. Since this is a SasuSaku event, they should be the only ship depicted in the piece. Subtle implications and mentions of other ships in the background is permitted.

Q. Will you accept late submissions?
A. Late submissions will be shared for up to two weeks after the event. So go ahead create at your own pace.
